I went to Dublin with my two girl roommates (Brittany and Jess, both Americans) and a girl from ISU (Abby). We had such a good time together! We did a walking tour, went to the Guinness factory, toured a jail rich in the political history of Ireland, and did lots of walking around! We also found a great bakery..let me know if you go to Dublin, you need to go there!

Doesn't it look a little spooky?
We went to the same bakery both days we were in Dublin, and would have gone the third day if it wasn't closed!

I know I might look happy..this is before I tasted it. I HATED Guinness...guess I'm not much of a beer drinker!

The weather was so beautiful while we were there! Seriously, we were so happy to see the sun!
The next weekend was a weekend full of adventures!! I met my wonderful cousin Shelby (who is currently studying in London) and, along with 2 other girls, we went to the western coast of Wales in the Pembrokeshire National Park. Saturday started off with a delightful, yet exhausting, 7-mile hike on the Welsh coast. Let me tell you, this hike was a real, gritty, intense, amazing hike. We walked on trodden paths, through fields of sheep, and were right next to the sea/ocean the whole time. I can't even explain to you just how amazing it was to be in nature like that....indescribable. We then went sea kayaking in the afternoon! I'd never been sea kayaking, or kayaking in general, so that was an interesting experience. I got the hang of it, but unfortunately I capsized during our exploring of the coast. I lived (obviously), but was so shaken after that! The water was cold, there were rocks and waves everywhere, and I had no idea what I was doing....a very scary thing to go through! Sunday morning we went coasteering--we climbed on rocks in the ocean/sea, then jumped into the water! Our high jumps were in a lagoon where an abandoned slate quarry was, so the water was calm and there weren't actual rocks to daunt us. It was so exhilarating, but scary at the same time! I unfortunately don't have many pictures, and they don't do justice to how awesome it was, but I'll try :)

I hope you enjoyed more pictures and less words! I'm now getting ready for my basically month-long spring break! Wednesday I'll be in Barcelona for a Mumford & Sons concert with my best friend (!!!!!!!!!), I return to Swansea early Saturday, then head off for spring break Sunday. It will be such a whirlwind, but I'm looking forward to every part of it!
